VASU Sales + Service Associate 

 

COMPENSATION

$16/hour (Paid as an employee)

3% commission on spa intro packs + memberships +new student intros  sold under your name 

5% monthly commission on in studio products sold under your name 

After 90 days

Staff Membership Unlimited yoga + 20% off all in studio spa services, purchases, gift cards, workshops) 

“Plus one” Ignite Your Light 1 memebrship to a friend or family member

Part time

Wednesdays - 4pm-9pm

Thursdays - 4pm-9pm

Fridays - 8:30am-2pm

 

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Customer service or sales experience is a plus. Being a start up entrepreneur or self starter is a great advantage. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

A Vasu Sales + Service Associate is the face of the brand and the first person our guests are greeted by. Their job is to understand all our offerings and to guide the guest into our full client journey. An ability to anticipate the needs of both guests and staff before being asked is a must.

 

Sales - Educating our guests and selling all of our offerings including gift cards, spa services + packages, memberships and class cards, products, and workshops. Monthly goals and performance review meetings  will be held

Service - Making our guests feel like family and at home. Anticipating their needs, answering their questions and troubleshoot shooting obstacles. Supporting our staff so the work environment is happy and helped.

Strategy - Light bulb needs replacing? Is there a process or system that you think could be better? Let us know! We value your input and self-starting leadership. 

 

Engagement - A warm, outgoing and positive attitude is brought to every engagement with staff and guests. Our tribe is family and they’re always made to feel that way. How can you connect deeply with each guest as you would a friend? How can you support the staff to help them provide a better service?

 

Lead Generation + Follow Up - Generating, recording, and following up with  new leads through every inquiry, whether over the phone, in person or via email. 

 

Booking Management - Booking + canceling services, classes and workshops over the phone, in person and through email. 

 

Administrative - Responding to emails and phone calls, entering all new clients into our database, signing up / pausing memberships, and other tasks through our mindbody software booking system.

 

Light Cleaning - Keeping the desk and retail area stocked and organized, as well as cleaning dishes, and putting away laundry.

Pup Patrol - Our studio dog Luna is always in studio. She loves lots of cuddle + kisses!

We ask that you sign up for our New Student Intro pass. This includes 2 weeks of unlimited yoga which would allow you to gain a deeper understanding of our different class offerings (which would be important if you join the team) + get to connect with our team + the Vasu community.  The investment in the New Student Intro is $49 + provides you a deeper understanding of what sets us apart from other studios.
